DAY 1: YANGON ARRIVAL
You will meet our tour guide and driver at Yangon International Airport from which they will transfer you to the hotel in Yangon for check-in.
Then, be ready for the Yangon sightseeing tour that puts the top attractions on the agenda. First of all, Kyauk Htat Gyi Pagoda introduces you to the 70m-long reclining Buddha statue. Walking downtown, you will meet many Burmese people who are gathering at the Chinatown in 19th Street. The photography opportunities are so boundless that urges you to take great shots of the temples, the locals, and their activities. Last but not least, Shwedagon Pagoda is a must to see in Yangon, which will amaze you at the 100m height, the golden look, and the magnificent architecture. The Pagoda will present its best color during the sunset when its gilded stupa becomes covered in the magical brightness. We recommend you to check in the eastern stairway to find some shops selling the religion-themed objects like monks’ robes, alms bowls, incense, and more. Encrusted with more than 40 tons of gold leaf, Shwedagon looks truly fantastic in the twilight conditions.

DAY 2: YANGON – GOLDEN ROCK
After the pleasant breakfast time, you will take the 5-hour drive transfer from the hotel to the Golden Rock in Mon State. As the famous Buddhist pilgrimage venue, the Golden Rock and the Kyaikhtiyo pagoda on the top of the Rock attract people to do homage throughout the year. You’ll be surprised at the monument built on the peak of the granite boulder encrusted with gold leaf pasted by the male pilgrims. The distinctive time in this landmark will give you peace of mind.
Before you reach the Golden Rock, the drive will stop at Kyakhat Wine Monastery that is a center for the monks to study Buddha’s literature. There, you come to know more about the young monks’ monastic life. Later, it will stop at the base camp from which you will travel by a local open-air truck to arrive at the junction camp. You can choose to continue the drive to the pagoda or walk 45 minutes to get there. Also, you can pay for an interesting option to use sedan-chair.

DAY 3: GOLDEN ROCK –BAGO – YANGON
You will have breakfast at the hotel, get on an open-air truck to move to the base camp, and then take a drive back to Yangon. On the route, you will be glad to stop at the ancient Bago (Pegu) to contemplate Shwe Mawdaw pagoda that is the tallest one in the country. With the gigantic scale and impressive architecture, this pagoda will make a strong impression on you. What’s more, it’s worth discovering Kanbawzathardi palace that is a reconstruction of the former royal palace from the second half of the 16th century. Next, Shwethalyaung with one of the biggest Buddha statues in Myanmar will amaze you while the Kyaik Pun pagoda with the four towering Buddha images is fascinatingly visible from afar. Also, spend a nice journey in the market and Mon village dedicated to woven textiles. Prior to your arrival at Yangon, don’t miss the discovery of World War 2 Cemetery and the hand-made pot workshops.

DAY 04: YANGON – FLY TO BAGAN
The delicious breakfast time will be followed by a drive transfer to the airport for a short flight from Yangon to Bagan. Recognized as one of the greatest architectural sites in Asian and the largest temple city in the world, Bagan is home to more than 4,000 temples and pagodas scattered in the vast plain. The monuments of 11th-13th centuries provide amazing vista for sightseeing and photography all seasons. The itinerary today not only provides you with the marvelous temple sightseeing but also the cultural experiences in the local workshops.
Included first in the list is Ananda Temple – one of the most splendid and most-preserved sites in the destination. You will arrive at the temple prior to the other tourists so that the exploration is free and easy in the quite placidity. The plain is also dotted with many other stupas that let you witness the century-old Burmese religious architecture and the art of the 9-14th centuries. Furthermore, observe the local rural life that farmers might work amongst the temples.
If you’re fond of the Burmese culture, then grab the opportunities to explore the local workshops that are about the lacquerwares and wooden crafts. Witness how the craftspeople apply their traditional methods to produce exquisite items.

DAY 05: BAGAN
You will have breakfast at the hotel. After that, get ready for the outdoor adventure to the Old Bagan area. You will be transferred to the bustling Nyaung Oo Market in which the residents gather to trade goods. Thereafter, go for a stroll around the Old Bagan, and make sure to stop at the outstanding 11th-century Shwezigon Pagoda, some other temples, and monasteries on the dusty and tree-shaded lanes. Then, you will reach a lovely village. If interested, you can join a traditional Buddhist ceremony in one of the monasteries on the spot.
The next activity is to take a horse-cart ride for a tour to Thatbyinnyu temple (the tallest one in the region) and the giant Dhammayangyi Temple (with the impressive brickwork). When it comes to the sunset time, find joy in viewing the twilight from the upper terrace of any monuments.

DAY 06: BAGAN – FLY TO MANDALAY
After breakfast, you will take a domestic flight from Bagan to Mandalay. Upon your arrival, let’s go to explore Amarapura (City of Immortality) which was once a penultimate royal capital of Myanmar. Next, proceed to the revered Mahagandayon monastery that shelters over a thousand of young monks who are studying the monastic life and strictly following the religious disciplines. There will also be enough time to visit Mahamuni Pagoda where one of the country’s most venerated and gold-encrusted Buddha statues were enshrined. What’s more, you’ll be glad to marvel at the Kyauktawgyi Pagoda that has the Great Marble Buddha image carved from a single colossal block of marble. And, don’t miss a chance to visit the frequently-dubbed “The World’s Biggest Book” of Kuthodaw Pagoda in which you can find a collection of 729 marble slabs carved with the Buddhism teachings. Then, the perfect blend of gold and wood is presented in Shwenandaw Monastery which is gold-encrusted and has the noteworthy woodcarvings.
As scheduled, you will get to U Bein Bridge in the late afternoon. U Bein is the world’s longest teakwood bridge built in 1782, with the 1.2km span over the shallow Taungthamma River. The best time to cherish the beauty of the bridge is during sunset when the twilight reflects on the river and the Burmese monks, as well as the locals, are heading home. Return to the city.

DAY 07: MANDALAY – MINGUN – SAGAING – MANDALAY
This morning, you will be taken to Mandalay jetty after breakfast time at the hotel. There will be a private boat waiting for you in the Jetty, which is prepared for the 1-hour voyage on Irrawaddy River to Mingun. On the cruising route, you can expect to visit the outstanding Mingun Paya which is colossal brickwork bounded to the unexplained fortune-telling about its tumble due to the earthquake in the 1800s. Ascend to the flat top of the monument, you will be able to observe the fascinating Hsinbyume Paya, the idyllic Mingun village, and the transparent river. More interestingly, learn about the largest hung and complete bell with the capacity of ringing in the world today: the Mingun Bell that weighs 90 tons. The cruise trip will continue to the neighboring areas of Mingun that you can stop by the traditional basketry village, observe their culture, and interact with the friendly craftspeople.
Later, you will arrive at Sagaing. The Sagaing Hill is a popular spiritual hub of the Burmese, and its highlights are the 600-ivory colored monasteries. This is also home to approximately 3,000 monks who can meditate in around 100 shrines around the corners. The top sites on the agenda are Swan Oo Pon Nya Shin, U Min ThoneSae and Shin Pin Nan Gyaing. Subsequently, you might want to check how the locals live and work. Just head to the market and the pottery village to observe activities of the local merchants and craftspeople.

DAY 08: MANDALAY – HEHO – INLE
As planned, you will take a morning flight from Mandalay to Heho, which is located in the center of Shan State. Then, in Heho, take a drive transfer to Nyaung Shwe village. The transfer will cover some nice stopovers at the countryside workshops that produce the Shan traditional paper and hand-made umbrellas. The cultural experiences this way will leave a good impression on you when it comes to discussions about the Burmese people and their traditions. Another great stop is the teak Shweyanpyay monastery that preserves the monks’ sophisticated woodcarving skills.
Once the overland tour is over, it’s time to begin a boat trip on a private motorboat that enables you to fully discover Inle Lake – one of Myanmar’s most beautiful and interesting attractions. The Lake is noticeable for the calm water, spectacular scenes along the shores, floating gardens, stilted houses, fishing boats, and the leg-rowing skill of the Intha fishermen. From afar, you can also contemplate the magnificent hill backdrop. At a later time, the boat trip will introduce you to the honored Nga Hpe Chaung Monastery that keeps many Buddha images of the early periods of the Shan state. The lake discovery cannot be perfect without the time in the haven of Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda in which the five venerated statues of Buddha encrusted with gold leaf are well-protected. Moreover, there are some other traditional villages and workshops to visit around the lake, in order to know about their woven items made from lotus silk, boat building technique, cigar making, blacksmith, and silversmith. Travel back to the hotel.

DAY 09: INLE LAKE – INDEIN – FLY BACK YANGON
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, and then be energetic to discover the local market near the lake. The morning atmosphere is so fresh and vibrant that you will be happy to mingle with the inhabitants of the lake as well as the neighboring people who come to trade their wares. In next 1 hour will be invested in the boat trip downstream the canal toward the Pa-Oh village of Indein, nestled on the west of the lake. There, you will be interested in hundreds of the little stupas encompassed by moss and greenery that are all included in the amazing Indein Pagoda complex.
After that, receive a road transfer to Heho Airport for a flight back to Yangon. Getting to Yangon, proceed with the check-in and enjoy the hotel facilities.
