Day 1 : Mandalay – Myinmu – Pakokku - Bagan
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to Gawein Jetty to embark on RV Shwe Keinnery boat to cruise down to Bagan. It is a well maintained and renovated river vessel running up and down between Mandalay and Bagan daily. But its operation depends highly on daily occupancy list of Clients. The boat will cast off at 08:00 am.
Between two ancient capitals, it stops at Myinmu, a fair town located at the west of Ayeyarwaddy river, which can also be reached by motor road, 39 miles south of Mandalay. The vast lands of banana plantations are around Myinmu and exported to neighboring region. Then you will stop again at Pakokku in Magwe division on the west of Irrawaddy River, south of the confluence with the Chindwin.
The surrounding arid regions are interspersed between the fertile valleys of the Yaw, Myittha, and Mone rivers, where millet, sugar, maize, vegetables, rice, and tobacco are cultivated. Pakokku offers a variety of local goods and is famous for jaggery, thanaka logs, longyis, checkered blankets made of cotton and of course the famous cheroots.
You will disembark at Nyaung U jetty around 14:00 pm. Depending on the permitted water level, arrival time might be varied. Afterwards, you will be picked up and transfer to your hotel in Bagan.

Day 1 : Bagan – Pakokku – Myinmu - Mandalay
