DAY 1: YANGON ARRIVAL

Arrive to Yangon and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

DAY 2: YANGON CITY SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast at hotel, we explore the fascinating Yangon. Start with a 70m long reclining Buddha at Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda, followed by Sule Pagoda, MahaBandula Park.

Late this afternoon, enjoy the fantastic sunset at the Shwedagon Pagoda, the most sacred and majestic Buddhist site in Myanmar. Later have dinner on a hamsa-bird-shaped floating barge on Kandawgyi Lake.

DAY 3: YANGON – MANDALAY – HKAMTI SIGHTSEEING

Your flight leaves Yangon Airport to fly to Hkamti via Mandalay. More visitors come on board at Mandalay and the plane leaves for Hkamti, the nearest air terminal to Lahe. At Hkamti a welcoming committee waits for you and conducts you to the jetty. Cross the Chindwin River, one of the major tributaries of the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River to Sinthe Village. Enjoy lunch and refreshments at Sinthe Village before continuing to Lahe by light air truck. Arrive at Lahe and check-in to your accommodation, built with native materials. Dinner and rest for the night.

DAY 4: SIGHTSEEING AT NAGA VILLAGES

Sightseeing at Naga Villages and study Naga Traditions and Naga Natural Life.

DAY 5: SIGHTSEEING AT NAGA VILLAGES

The traditional Naga Ceremonial Pole will be erected at the festival grounds and various Naga clans in all their traditional costumes will be there to participate. Explore the surrounding villages or the town of Lahe on your own.

DAY 6: NAGA NEW YEAR PARTY

The Official Opening Ceremony of the Naga New Year begins on the festival grounds early in the morning. Partake of the traditional New Year food and rice wine with the Naga community elders. After the conclusion of the official ceremony, dance competitions by dance troupes from various Naga villages and sporting events will start. Finally, in the evening a large bonfire is lit and everybody takes part in welcoming the Naga New Year, dancing around the bonfire.

DAY 7: NAGA NEW YEAR FESTIVAL

You leave the Naga New Year Festival and head back, either to Mandalay or to overnight at Mandalay.

DAY 8: HKAMTI – KENGTONG SIGHTSEEING

When we have reached Kyaing Tong on the late afternoon flight, transportation will be provided to transfer to the hotel. Excursion - Kyaing Tong. The night will be spent at the hotel.

DAY 9: KENGTONG TRIBES VILLAGES SIGHTSEEING

Two days to visit the various ethnic groups such as Akha, Lahu, Lisu, Palaung and Ang who are living isolated in their own villages with their unique ways of traditional dress, language and customs, beliefs and cultivation of high land rice and other crops using the slash and burn method. We shall drive and then take a few hours walking through beautiful countryside and along the trail system leading up to the individual villages. We will bring along some stationary for the kids living in those villages. There are not many tourists visiting Kyaing Tong and even fewer to the outlying districts. Many villagers rarely have a chance to see foreigners. After visiting the tribal villages, we will be heading back to Kyaing Tong and the night will be spent at the hotel.

DAY 10: KENGTONG VILLAGES SIGHTSEEING

DAY 11: KENGTONG VILLAGES SIGHTSEEING

We will visit to Wang Nyet / Wang Sang village where you can see ancient monasteries and also take the opportunity to experience the contrasts, by a trip to the Myanmar–China border town of Mong La. Return to Kyaing Tong and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 12: KENGTONG MARKET – FLY BACK TO YANGON

In the morning visit to the market in Kyaing Tong. Here the area of various ethnic groups to sell their products and buy their daily necessities. After lunch, it's time to take to the airport and back to Yangon.

DAY 13: FLY BACK HOME

After breakfast, free time at leisure. You can be relaxing at the hotel or discover Yangon on your own until the departure time to the airport for the flight home.
