Myanmar Human Stories Photo Journey (11 Days / 10 Nights)

Day 1 – Arrival in Yangon

  • Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, you will be welcomed by your photography guide and transferred to your hotel.
  • After some rest, begin your first photography session at the iconic Shwedagon Pagoda, capturing the golden light and spiritual atmosphere of Myanmar’s most sacred site.
  • Overnight in Yangon

Day 2 – Yangon → Inle Lake

  • Fly to Heho and transfer to Nyaungshwe, the gateway to Inle Lake.
  • Along the way, visit:
  • Traditional Shan paper-making workshop
  • Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery
  • Red Mountain Winery (scenic views & optional tasting)
  • In the afternoon, begin your first boat photography session on Inle Lake, capturing:
  • Fishermen and floating life
  • Unique “leg-rowing” technique
  • Floating gardens and villages
  • Overnight in Inle Lake

Day 3 – Inle Lake & Indein Village

  • Visit the rotating local market, where ethnic groups gather—perfect for documentary photography.
  • Continue by boat to Indein Village, home to ancient pagodas surrounded by jungle.

  • Traditional crafts (cheroot making, blacksmith)

Day 4 – Inle Lake → Bagan

Day 5 – Bagan Cultural & Market Photography

  • Begin with a visit to Nyaung-U morning market, capturing vibrant local life.
  • Continue to:

  • Visit local villages and lacquerware workshops
  • Explore temples by E-bike or horse cart
  • Sunset photography over Bagan.

Day 6 – Bagan Photography Experience

  • Optional hot air balloon flight at sunrise (seasonal).
  • Explore temple complexes and nearby villages for:

  • Visit a local palm sugar workshop to capture traditional processes.
  • Overnight in Bagan

Day 7 – Bagan → Mandalay (via Ava & Sagaing)

  • Drive to Mandalay with stops along the way.

  • Bagaya Monastery (teakwood architecture)
  • Sagaing Hill (spiritual center)
  • Sunset at U-Bein Bridge, ideal for silhouette photography.

Day 8 – Mandalay City Exploration
